Kenton Snyder - Bass, Lead Vocals
Learning to fly and playing the bass at the age of 13, Kenton brings a
wealth of experience and a growing love and passion for music to Pink Droyd.
Snyder was an original member of the Fort Wayne group Banshee in the early 80’s, as well as a founding member of Not My Kids (1987). The “Kids” were an opening act at Piere’s for such groups as: The Doobie Brothers, Mick Taylor (former member of the Rolling Stones), and The Electric Amish. Kenton spent 5 years as part of the Night Shift Band
for a local TV show that landed him the part of David Caradine’s
bassist in ‘The American Real’ (Kung Fu fame), a movie filmed in Fort
Wayne in 1999.
He recently finished up a 4 year stint with Nostalgia, a 7 piece horn band, as their bassist and vocalist.
After taking a couple years off from the club circuit, Kenton became
involved in a side project featuring Brad Kelsey, a local up and coming
blues artist. It was then that Snyder made contact with his friend
Mike Lennon five years after trying to rekindle the “Lennon Brothers”
Pink Floyd tribute show that Mike founded.
The timing wasn't right back then but now the stars are in alignment and he
is very excited to be a part this very talented group of musicians.
“The Show Must Go On!”
